With more than 20 years of experience as a buyer broker and listing agent, I am an Accredited Buyer Representative and a Senior Real Estate Specialist in the Denver Metro Area of Colorado.
Finding and seeing homes for sale with my clients is fun for me. I enjoy the hunt! "A Reputation Built on Results" is my motto. Real Estate is a part of my life now as well as when I grew up. I come from a family who worked together in real estate - Uncles, Cousins, Father, Aunts. Though I taught school, both public and college levels, and was a professional singer/songwriter, I always returned to real estate.
During the 20 plus years I have been a professional Broker, I have used all the skills acquired through teaching, performing and learning (I have a masters degree in gifted education).Being a Realtor requires me to be a teacher as I explain market conditions to a property owner or a contract to purchase to a perspective buyer. Being a student keeps me researching the market and following trends carefully, while applying that knowledge to my listings. When I remember what it's like to stand up in front of a crowd of strangers and sing a song I wrote, it's easy to prepare a marketing campaign for a new listing, or pitch a property to a room full of unknown realtors.
As for rewards, though I depend on the income generated from the actual sale of a property, I feel just as rewarded to have helped a client as I was to see a student achieve success. That's why I believe in "A Reputation Built on Results". If you don't succeed, I don't either.
