It has been a priority of mine to enjoy the benefits of mountain life: skiing, rafting, mountain biking, and hiking keep me busy all year long.  An avid skier, my passion for the sport began as a small child on the slopes of Sunday River, Maine, and continued while serving eight years on the Vail Ski Patrol.  Those years spent serving Vail's guests were invaluable, as I developed medical, decision making, backcountry and avalanche skills.  My work as a ski patroller led me to France where I worked as a "Pisteur" in the French Alps.  Okay, now say it with a french accent, "Pisteur."  Better.  "Meeting people from all over the world, in Vail and in France, has been a rewarding experience.  It has helped me gain a perspective and understanding of people with different backgrounds and personalities."
