One of the things I love about my job is that I get to meet so many wonderful people and sit down and help them work through any challenges that they might have with their rooms. I love watching my clients’ faces light up when I create beauty for them that honors their lives and the things they love or helps them to sell the home that they have loved for so many years!
I am so excited that I get to teach clients (about decorating principles and how they apply to them), help them find their decorating style and anticipate what their needs will be; all while using my skills to do something that I truly I love. I also love that I get to help them put away their memories and save them for their new home while getting their house ready to sell.
The fact that my work will have an impact on the life of a family on a daily basis is such an honor! Where I put chairs will impact how a husband and wife communicate. The game table I select will set the stage for family fun and interaction. The color I chose for the walls will impact the emotion of each individual that sits in the space. I can nurture them, long after I have left them. I can also help someone to picture themself living in a home like this that is for sale!

Since decorating had become a passion and I couldn’t stop thinking about it, I decided to pursue it and become a Certified Interior Redesigner in 2005. Shortly after that, "Redesign EXPRESS" was born and I began working with clients to help them make their homes everything they desired. After helping clients redesign and choose paint colors for their homes, I went back to my instructors at Redesigning Interiors and added “professional home staging” to my repertoire in early 2006.
As a charter member of The Society of Decorating Professionals (SDP), I also attend the annual conference each year in August and was awarded certification in Redesign, Staging, Interior Decorating and Color.At this past year's conference I was recognize for having been asked to serve on a committee that helpd the SDP continue in their mission to recognize and support redesigners, decorators, and stagers.
