Susan was born on Long Island and raised in Queens. She moved to Stroudsburg from Brooklyn where she 1/2 raised her 3 children along with her husband Barry (now a retired teacher and musician.) Before settling down in the Poconos, she and her family worked in various residential camps. Enjoying the area for its nature, activities and culture, they decided this was a great area to raise children. She was active in PTA’s, Girl Scouts and other activities and came to the Pocono’s in 1999, with her feet running. The children all attended schools in the Stroudsburg Area School District. As well as two children that graduated from East Stroudsburg University and one that graduated from UArts. Susan became active in many groups in Stroudsburg, including: the chairperson for the education & workshop committee at the Pocono Photo Club, ran many fundraisers for the Pocono Arts Council, volunteering at The Pocono Herb Club, ran conferences at PoconoWomen, a member of Women Business Owner Association, a contributor to Monroe County Historical Association, a Leader for Girl Scouts of America and her neighborhood’s publisher of their directory. Susan is very active in the Art community and is well known for her talents. She is a Photographer and teaches at Northampton Community College, area libraries, as well as PoconoArts. Photography a skill that is useful in marketing a buyers home to show off in it’s best light. As an instructor, Susan is an excellent communicator. She is a people person and a good listener. She knows the area well, from working as an enumerator for the 2010 Federal Census. Her children worked at ski and waterparks and now have children of their own. Susan is a familiar with the area and can guide you as to where the happenings are. Susan has been in sales for many years, selling everything from products, ads, memberships, and services. It is a natural talent. She has always been interested in helping people. She believes in Integrity, Honesty, Loyalty and Commitment in what ever she does. Too many sales people treat their clients like a one-night-stand. However, the focus needs to be on developing a relationship, kind of like a marriage. Susan believes matching a client to find their dream home is the romance and after closing is the honeymoon. Susan treats everyone like family. She is proud to be affiliated with Keller Williams and the team of support to make my clients the best served in the Poconos. Susan is a Member of the Pocono Mountain Association of Realtors.
