Alan Trugman joined Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty following a career as an executive in sales and marketing working with consumer research  for some of America's largest companies, including Microsoft, Citigroup and Federated Department Stores. His experience working in the complex and competitive consumer research field  has contributed to his success as a real estate agent, where his negotiating and marketing skills as well as his knowledge of market information help his clients achieve their goals.

Susan and Alan have a deep commitment to the people and communities of Rockland County, as members of the Clarkstown PTA, the Rockland Business Association, Susan's neighborhood book club, Alan's participation as a coach of youth athletics, and as board members of the Scene Stealers Theater Company.  They have lived in the county for over 18 years, and currently live in New City with their son Michael and their daughter Caroline, who both attend Clarkstown schools.
