I have been a full-time real estate agent in Orange County since 1993, but my love for the business was probably included in my DNA. As a teenager, I was a regular referer to my grandfather (a local real estate broker) when I would call him to tell him about my classmates whose parents were planning to move. His mother, my great-grandmother had been a real estate broker on Balboa Island in the 1930's, and all 3 of her sons later entered the business. My mother, father, 2 brothers and sister all have been involved in California real estate development, sales, or finance also. So far, one of my 2 daughters has passed the California real estate exam, and I won't be surprised when the other one eventually does too. My husband works in land development for a major builder, so we are fully immersed in this business!
Education:My formal education includes a Bachelor's degree in Marketing (Cal State University at Fullerton) and an MBA in Finance and Information Systems (University of Southern California.) My real estate industry education (besides 14+ years experience) includes completing the NAR e-PRO certification, recently completing the requirements to become an Accredited Real Estate Consultant "ACRE", taking advanced real estate courses required for brokers, and am currently working to complete the CRS requirements for my CRS designation.
One of the reasons that I love the real estate industry is that it constantly changes! The economy, technology, marketing techniques, contract forms, interest rates, and market conditions change regularly, and it's very challenging to stay informed and be able to adjust plans accordingly!

As a long term resident of Lake Forest, in South Orange County, I have been very involved in the community. When my daughters were young, I worked in their classrooms, volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, and helped form the Lake Forest Dolphin Swim Team. I have always enjoyed my community involvement because I believe you have to participate to both know and enjoy your local community.
Whether you are a buyer or a seller, I'm here to help you.
For buyers, I will spend time helping you define your basic wants, needs and budget, along with helping you evaluate all the trade-offs that you will need to consider in your home buying decision. I will introduce you to reputable lenders who can help you determine the best type of loan program to meet your goals. Researching the amenities of the neighborhoods and evaluating the schools, proximity to work, shopping and other concerns that are important to you will guarantee that you will be comfortable and happy in your new home.
For sellers, I will help determine what needs to be done in order to maximize your net proceeds from your sale. I will help you find the best contractors and other professionals to prepare your house for the market. Marketing your home will include appropriate print and online advertising, emailing (NOT spamming) to the agents who have clients in your price range, posting virtual tours to the MLS, my website, and other appropriate online media, plus many other services that are available to market your home to the right buyers.
Specializing in Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Trabuco Canyon, and surrounding areas of South Orange County.
