Thanks for nudging me Carla Muss-Jacobs, Principal Broker/Owner - I've been swamped and not in the RAIN enough lately!  I haven't gotten calls from my advertising, but I have received compliments on the professional look.  I used a Vector file, same as my business cards, so it looks very professional and color coordinates with my car, being white.  Plus I have a plate that spells GREENRE, Green Real Estate.  My listing clients appreciate it because they think I'll bring them a buyer!  My buyer clients think it's clever.  And it only cost me $175!  Very inexpensive, I can see throught it, and it looks great!

I use a car sign.  I think it works because I am always driving all over the place.  People think I am working all the time - mostly true!

A heavy hitter friend of mine has a big sign on her car.  She told me she has never gotten a sale or lead from the sign.

I have had several listing appointments where the seller asked me to NOT drive a car with RE advertising to their home.  They did not want their neighbors to know what they were up to.  On the same note, one client did not want a lockbox on their door because they did not want their neighbors to know their home was for sale.  What was really puzzling was they were moving 2 time zones away.  Why should they care?

Jeff Dowler CRS I don't use any type of advertising on my car. Had magnetic signs years ago, but got away from it.

Info and logo on the back window of my SUV.  I was waiting on Debbie at the PO and a guy walked up asked me if I could sell his house.  We met later that day, I listed and closed the home within 3 weeks.  That's just one story of success.

I don't... just not my style. I might consider a vanity plate, Jeff, if I ever have time to really think about it and do something.

Hi Jeff -- I don't use any of the items you mention.

It's not my style although I know many have used them successfully over the years.

We have had wraps but then changed the name of our company at the first of the year.  We had them removed but will definatley put new ones back on. Yes, they do draw attention and people will call you from their car next to you or in back of you.  Cheesy?  Attracting business is cheesy?  Not to me!

I have my logo and website on my vehicle.  I don't know that anyone has called me because they saw my advertising, but I've always wanted to try it out.  Jan Green advertises on her vehicle too.  Hope she shares her comments.

Cindy Davis -- I have a lot of class and so does my ML 500 Mercedes.  I resent tacky comments.

Jeff Dowler CRS - never tried as some towns consider the car I use as a commercial vehicle.

And working by referrals, I never felt I'd need that....

Early in my career I used magnets, they worked. I worried about my paint job. I have used license plates and they work too. Now I don't use either.

I've thought about advertising on my back windows or with magnetic signs. I think it's a good thing, and I'm not a bad or angry driver, so I don't have to worry about that. LOL. I guess this is something I just haven't done yet.

I have a vanity plate with "FloorGrl."  My customers seem to love it and it has helped me close more sales. It adds to the branding, too...without being tacky.  I also have purple hubcaps (as purple is my color).  I hope to get purple car lashes, too.

No. It attracts too much gossip, especially if you're going to a listing appointment. Some sellers don't like it either, becasue they don't want to be pestered by nosy neighbors and their friends and relatives who are agents.

When I first started out in Real Estate in the 90's I had a small advertisement on the back of my van.  People often commented that they had "seen me around town" and did notice the advertisement. When I got rid of that vehicle after a number of years I didn't do it again, but at the beginning of my career it helped!
