I have about 500 on YouTube. Most are informational, market oriented, and targeted. Try to keep them under 4 minutes if you go that route.

Michael - I think I am going to try and focus on videos of neighborhoods I am interested in marketing.
Oh dear. There is already so much really, really bad real estate video all over the Internet!
I may do a few this year, but as a viewer, I would prefer not to watch a video when it could be said better in a list or paragrapgh, video should be for entertainment or show me type situations, not for a talking head answering questions or giving speeches.
A great one for you may be how to fix something, or showing a particular type of issue in a home, etc
I hope you share some of them.

My focus will be video testimonials ... which will include an quick intro, the testimonial and then a call to action. I'm working with a third party to produce them. I provide the content ... they create!
We are already on overload on the video subject in my opinion...Photos rule, people like to see a home in their own time, not with music and shots that make you dizzy...A
Michael- I liked the one you did that was short and animated....short being the key word.
I like the animated white board ones because my face won't be in it lol. I have a videographer friend who just doesn't get how I won't talk my brains off into her camera on all things real estate.
There are a couple of good ones like Pow-toons. Once you get the software & start 'your movie' you find out how daunting the project really is. They say it's easy but not by my standards.
we already have a green screen and software....
I use Animoto for a few short ones, but like to do longer (2 minutes) for neighborhoods.
I have no interest in doing any videos. Good luck though- I hear that a lot of people are successful with them!
Video is so powerful, but with our limited attention spans, it has to be less than three minutes and less is more!
Don't just do animated though, people like to see people!
I'm looking into Animoto again.
Almost anything you do in the way of video should be helpful. Being willing to experiment is good.
Hi TeamChi - Complete Home Inspections, Inc. for me I have a collection of 15-30 second drone community videos I'll be launching. I had them created specifically for SEO to imbed on all my neighborhood web pages. Personally wish I had enough courage for one of those talking things but I hate myself on camera so it's just not going to happen.
