How low can you go. We are at 1.5 mos that I just looked at about an hour ago. Days on market though is 77 which ain't flyin' off the market.

It is down in some price ranges very low and others still have plenty. Overall inventory down 15% to 6-7 months worth.

SoCal is always low. Sarasota inventory should be starting to catch up with demand very soon.

It is good but the sales are not as strong as one year ago. Some people say it is the election and uncertainty. I am not sure.

I call it thinventory. But your description is very apt.

different in different price points Larry.  Some (entry level) is very low, but we are very saturated in Luxury listings in my market.

Love that comment Larry Johnston (about the snake's belly - HA!).  Our inventory has been low for our community this year, too.  And I'm referring to even in our 'busy season' with snowbirds and vacationers in town.  I have no comparison since this is my first year, so this is input from Roger.

My home zip code has only 3 homes under 160 all 3 are major re.Hans.    Buyers need to be at 170+ to find a livable home in  area

That is definitely a way to put it.   We have no inventory either!

Very descriptive!  We're not quite that bad here, but I am busier than "a one legged man at a butt kicking contest" and have to go from place to place "faster than a jack-rabbit on speed."

Very low but I just checked and for the first time in weeks inventory expanded.

in 70 years, I've seen one small snake.... and can't remember seeing a wagon rut!!!  but our inventory IS low....not as low as it was, but it's not a level market here yet....

I'm not sure I would answer like that but that is a clear description!   

Our inventory is low, as well... but not as low as that Wagon-Rut thingie.  The low inventory is driving sales and pushing prices up.

We have a shortage of affordable homes for first time home buyers.

Dry ... very dry.  As values start moving up again I think that will change, but in our area of Wisconsin there are still a number of sellers who are underwater or just not willing to "give their house away".

Send them to Tallahassee or Ocala.   We have scores of houses for sale, in all price ranges.
