Whack-An-Agent! A perennial favorite. Grrrr
I'd personally just take care of it. Everyone's gonna just aggravate me with their BS.

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 I would just take care of it. If the person who damaged it didn't say anything at the time, they aren't going to own up to it later.

Spy cameras are cheap. Next time set up camera and post a sign that you are recording.
Or ask a buddy agent to sit in the busy listing.
I would call the agents and start backwards. Let us know what they report. My guess is none will own up to it

Unless you KNOW who did it, just take care of it; and get a junior agent to cover your listing next time for the protection of you, the seller and the property.

No matter who the purchaser is you know they'll be removing that acoustic tile ceiling anyway so I'd let sleeping dogs lie unless you can prove who the culprit is. They'll be plenty of chances to whack away in the future Annette.

I would probably take care of it but would also make a phone call to each agent what happened for future reference!

Whack-an-agent - is that like whack-a-mole - there could be a market for that!
Just take care of it myself - there are good agents and then there are not ;)

Chasing that down would be hopeless. I would keep the list that showed and politely remind them what happened last time they showed the home. And that most likely would only aggrevate. Hate it when we get our hands tied. Mark

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 - may be, video monitoring would help in such case.
Here, all agents are going to deny of wrong-doing.

If they haven't already owned up to it, chances are they aren't going to. I'd take care of, price of open houses!

I don't get this...Open house without you there?????
No way would I have let agents run amuck with no way to hold anyone resposible for any kind of damage

Chances are any agent that would leave it that way wouldn't be the type to admit to doing it so you would be wasting your time in trying to track it down and getting a confession.

I agree with comments below, that with alot of agents there on Sunday, no one will 'admit' to damaging the 10 tiles. And if they used a piece of floor trim to displace the tiles there will be no fingerprints on the tile - maybe on the trim, if they were 'smart' enough to just drop it there. I think there is no option but to fix it Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041, but would not let that one happen again, meaning having an Open House, since that one seems to be popular, and hence there would be an agent present. Hate when people are destructive, and 'having a reason' to me (to see something), is an excuse - they do it because they can and that's vandalism - I'm sorry this happened.

Just take care of it, lesson learned, next time install a few hidden cameras before leaving a home unattended.

Well take care of it by all means. As far as who did it. How much time do you want to spend on this? You are running auto-pilot now.

I hate when they do this. In vacants, investor types rip a corner of the wallpaper off too. If it didn't look bad before, it looks worse now.
I'd say you have to just fix it because you don't really know who did it & calling won't help. Everyone denies it.

Big acoustic tiles for validation of insulation? I will make a police report as evidence of vandalism.
May be insurance will pay for them.

I'd take care of it. If there wasn't a ton of agents, I'd call for feedback and ask if the tiles were displaced when they were there. If they admit to moving them, then I'd tell them not to do that again and I'd send them the bill.

Just take care of it! But do call each agent 1) to pry and 2) as a simple opportunity for feedback on the property

I agree with the answers that said to take care of it. It would be hard to determine who did it and the condition they left it in, probably indicates that they wouldn't own up to it.
3,447,516
Annette, I would not whack either but I am sure I would want to. No way of proving who done it … doubtful anyone would own up to it … so I would take care of it.

I don't really understand "auto pilot" open house... but trying to find the culprit is going to prove frustrating and probably not fruitful.
