I spent thirty-five years working in Symphony orchestras. I don't add music to real estate videos. Vivaldi and Bach have suffered enough.

It has been said to never add music; our taste may not be theirs.

I'm okay with music as long as it's not too loud or distorted. It's easy to click the mute button. What I do hate with a pink passion is AGENTS TALKING with distortion or lousy form . . . I don't really want to see the agent at all. Just show the property. And no tinniness or feedback.

I dislike any music being played.  It is always distracting especially at 3am when you're scrambling to hit the mute button!!

I will if it's annoying.  Sometimes if the video looks interesting, I'll just mute the volume. 

Not only in that, but in some movies too. Scoring, music, tempo and accenting a scene or point is an art form. some do it better than others

Yes, or I muted it. The music was awful and a annoying distraction. Other reasons are: too much zooming in and out, panning too fast, or some annoying agent doing what they call a walking tour. They have some person who doesn't know how to shoot a video follow them through the house filming all the ignorant comments being made by the agent. " This is the kitchen with grantite counter tops... look at those 9' ceilins and ceiling fans.... look at that view out the window- the lot is 1/2 acre but that view makes it feel like you own 10 acres.... blah, blah.

I have had buyers say they hate all the music on videos BTW.

I dont know why so many buy into this "requirement" to include background music, I would prefer silence or a descriptive narrative as we tour the property.

I usually don't turn my speakers on.  Hate narrration and most people's choice in music.  If you want me to listen, put Metallica in the background!

I have!  But it's not just the music.  There is one company that pans each shot really badly and they take way too long to load and show each one.  It it's just the music, you can turn it off.  But if it's crappy video as well, I go to the stock photo tour our MRIS provides.

Yes, there was this delightful tour of a home with a Corgi. The dog was cute but the video went over 5 minutes repeating fingernails on a chalkboard music.

I just mute it info don't like the music, same goes for commercials that pop up out of nowhere.

The mute button is a friend in some instances. I can even understand calm and 'background,' but the harsh, discordant, loud has never made sense to me.

I think home videos should have peaceful elevator music, if at all and not detract from the homes on the videos. Yes, I have closed a video that had irritating music and many do.

The slide show sound track brings nothing to the table. Just noise pollution. As a result my browsing occurs with 'sound' off at the computer.

If the video description reveals a narrative is present suggesting the agent made a minimal effort, I will enable the sound. As soon as the agent's narrative goes stupid such as "this 3 bedroom two bath..." (I already know that) or even worse, "Here is the kitchen..." I deem this is NOT AN IMPROVEMENT ON SILENCE and mute the sound.

Yes, I have and will again I'm sure. Happily, my default volume state on my computer and other devices is muted so I can avoid being assaulted. :P

Yes.  Now I turn the volume down before viewing.  Once I made a remark to my photographer about the music.  He was quick to inform me HE WROTE & PLAYED the tune!  LOL.. My bad! 

I usually fast forward to the movie because of time. I don't ever remember hearing music I found unpleasant.

I do not like the music videos- I am checking out listings while my husband is asleep so the music on the vidoes is a real problem!

No, if the music was annoying I would just mute the sound.

Yes.  Any music needs to be ever so soft and subtle not blasting ones brains and causing teeth to clatter. 

I simply turn off the sound.  No different than any other video with unwanted sound.

Yes, if it was too irritating and inappropriate, but it's easy just to turn down the volume or mute it.

If the music is to loud, YES!

Sometimes I think no music is better.   If potential buyers are looking at them at work, they don't want that music to be heard.
