November 25th, 2015 was my last day off, if I am within cell phone service range it seems it is ringing with work related calls

Great question! I have not had a real day off with absolutely no real estate business in several years. I know we all need a day off from work. In this day and age of the internet and social media, it is really hard to get away from especially since so much of our(real estate) work is online.

So far, it's never happened. Here's a photo of Wayne negotiating a deal on our last vacation.It's ok, though - we were at a winery so I had entertainment.

I took a couple of calls today from agents, but today was family day.

I don't remember!  (I really do have a good memory)

This past weekend.  Had a great visit with my daughter and family.  Celebrated my great grandsons 3rd birthday, and fathers day.

Since Mother's Day weekend, the last time I left town.  

Well, I always check my emails, networks, return calls, etc. since Iphone is so good in keeping you in the loop anywhere you are. 

November 27, 2015 that is the day Caren and I got married.

Very seldom does this ever happen.  Since I work with my family, most family time involves a business discussion.

30 days ago the day of my surgery!

Do days off when you are sick or injured count? If so, about a year.

The last two days spent in bed so sick I could not move. I had not felt that bad since I was under going chemo.  A day off ... no real estate ... it qualifies. You did not say we had to have fun 

Ever since I have had a phone or email, I have "checked in" daily...that's a lot of days.

Not often enough, although like Dorie Dillard, I have an upcoming vacation where I will be doing absolutely nothing for my biz. My assistant will keep the transactions moving, work with new prospects, etc. while I am away. I am ready for the break!

Good morning Debbie. I am in Chicago and my status is currently retired. Yet, I still get at least one call a day from agents I managed in the past. Once in your blood, always in your blood!

Debbie, Even in my "off days", I'm still getting a blog post out and answering emails/phone calls.  So far, I have zero appointments this weekened (but a new listing on Monday that needs prepped).  Considering almost all of last weekend was spent with clients, I welcome some off time as I have a ton of yardwork that needs done!  Bill

I do a Sunday OPEN almost every week (two developments) . But the last two weekends, before the crowd gets there, went to the Beach for a long weekend ( Fri-Mon.). I came back refreshed with new energy !
