I spend my day servicing clients, following up with leads/prospects, and learning new things. Every day is different... and I don't do stuff to "fill up" my days. I do what's needed to do to keep my listings selling and my buyers buying and what is needed to keep up a steady stream of buyers and sellers.

6:00PM barring pre-booked appointments, down tools = phone off, hello family. I may do some AR stuff, but AR is fun not work. The day AR is not fun, I'm out.
I also use an activity point system, so my day can end, pending appointments, as early as I hit 100 points. The more it has to do with closing an escrow, the higher point value the activity.

I start every day checking my emails first, then listening to messages and returning such. While i eat i check out AR, post my blog and read other blogs. I like to make my schedule the evening before. I fill my day with bpos. It is easy to know i have xxx showings here , here and here so will pass this home and that home, grab pictures and finish up the bpos later that evening. With the systems i have put in place, i can complete most in about 20 minutes. My over all day though is a balance of making sure pending sales are on track, getting current listings to be pending and working on getting new listings.
Blog, website improvement, landing pages, informative guides you can delivery in print or electronically, video creation that can be reused to give buyers and sellers info that will likely come up during each transaction.
Marketing and prospecting between all the other necessary things in support of clients.
Lots of great responses here, I look forward to adding to my day with some of these.
William Piotrowski - Calling sphere, getting referrals, working on current deals, generating new deals, taking clients out for dinner - and of course, few hours at ActiveRain.
Call or email past clients to catch up, add more content pages to a web site or wear your name badge and go to Home Depot.
The day starts early based on appointments set for the day. I leave room for the unexpected and plan time to reach out and prospect.
It is so different every day, just try to get through my long to do list.-Kasey
Emails, webinars, active rain, phone calls, etc.
I work off my Google Calendar and it fills quickly with appointments and tasks, plus it is always with me on my Iphone. Everything I do is geared towards the Company Dollar.
Stay on the phone until your schedule is full.
If not showing homes, I am marketing
the most important task of each day for me is my workout at the YMCA,,,I begin every day with a strength training workout.... it's invigorating.... the tasks for the remainder of the day just fall into place....
My daily to do's are tied to my overall plan as well as managing transactions. It is all specific to my business.
Every day is different, which is why I stick with this! There is always something to do, rather it's working on details of current business, talking to current or former clients, previewing the market, perusing the MLS to see what's going on neighborhood by neighborhood, etc. There is never "nothing" worthwhile to do.
If it is not productive I do not do it. The best thing I can do is elimiate non-productive tasks!
Start with coffee and Active Rain...it's all good from that point forward!
I never have enough time to do all that I need to do.
It is filled with all types of great activities.
Reach out to your sphere of influence constantly reminding them what you do!
