I eliminated my website upon retirement.

My website  is Wordpress based.. and I like he fact that I am in control of the content and can manage it myself.

I have been told that Joomla is better than WP but I feel like when you say that you are then transported to the center of a boxing ring. Since I have no gloves, I refuse to participate in the trouncing.

My site better work & that's all I want. That's why I dumped Placester, load times from MLS is 30 secs. They blamed it everything but themselves.

WordPress.  Yes. 

In fact, as I type I have a developer adding code to my sites to do things that help reduce the load time. He is coding what some plugins are supposed to do but do not do it as well as hard code.  

It is on Placster, but i get much better results from social media and blogging.

Wordpress.  My favorites are the ones that diable comments, block foreign visitors and stop hackers.

Custom - but I have several WP sites as well

Not an issue for me as I wind down!

had one I loved and the hosting company went belly up.  So yes, it's a constant process.

     Techies and others are mourning the loss of Thomas Kahl, who passed away this week.  Thomas  was one of the original contributors to Joomla.

It is it's own integrated system from an Oklahoma Ciuty based company.

I have a template site, and work on it every week.

I use Wordpress and the Beaver Builder plugin - it's a fairly simple system for designing a site (my site: lifeinsalem.com).
