10-20, I would say, Paul. I don't know the average but, there are a lot of agents who have been in the business a LONG time!

Our firm is one of the oldest in town, now 40 years. I joined the family business in 1985 and there are currently 7 + agents who were active REALTORS  before I started.

As of now we have an average of 41 and I'm ahead of the curve.

Since I am the solo Broker/ agent...the average is 29 years.

REMAX doesn't take on newbies.

As a consequence the experience equation has selection bias.

My office will average 14.2 years experience which is more 'youthful' than the national stats for REMAX.  One team consists of what appears to be recent high-school graduates, but they are in reality experienced agents, who are busting the age curve. Being near them is like being in a foreign country, I don't know what the h*ll they are talking about! They ARE closing deals.

Too many agents to answer that question with any accuracy.  Every server, waiter, and bartender gets a license when they move here.

I have 20 total, Carmen has 16--so 18 would be it! My days of even considering any kind of newbie have been long gone!

That's a tough question, Paul. We have 125 agents and I'd guess maybe the average is 8-10 years but probably more as we have some old dogs

Most have 10+ years experience. 

Two veterans, a "go to" guy and a sharpshooter.....this is our core to call upon

I don't have a clue... we have a handful of agents like me with 25+ years experience and we have everything from newbies to agents with any number of years under 25 of experience.

As a solo practioner now, I have been licensed in Illinois since 1974 and in Florida since 1990.

My guess would be around tenish as the newbies come and go.

Some of our greatest earners have less than 2 years, and most with less than 10 years.

We have agents in our office that have been in real estate for 35 years.

There are only three of us in the office.

• My broker - about 40 years
• Me - just under five, and I just earned my broker's license
• The youngin - just under two

I started at a big name brokerage with many, many agents, and I will never, ever go back to that type of atmosphere again.

Geez, We have the full gamut so the average is probably around 8 to 10 yrs. But we have over 200 agents - a handful with 30+ yrs, another handful with 20 to 30 yrs, lots between 10 to 20yr. The majority 5-10 yrs and we always has some new agents coming into the biz. It's actually a very nice mix of experience and enthusiasm.

I do not know. Many have been in the office over 20 years.

It's alot like 20. There are only 2 newbies of sort out of all of us.

Just a WAG I would say 15-20.

At the brokerage I owned the average was about a dozen years. Others I worked at about 2 years Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS 

Probably 10 years to 30 years. 

I have no idea, but it's a broad range from fairly new to many years of experience.

Just my wife and I so a combined 48 years.

We have a 100 or so agents in our brokerage. No idea what the average experience is. Plenty of veterans offset by lots of newbies.
