Cynthia Geletka's professional experience includes a significant career with lending institutions and real estate development and marketing companies in South Florida. Specifically,  in Florida she worked for the Sage Corporation, Equibank NA, The Teachers Service Organization, the Colonial National Bank NA, and held her real estate license with Stiles Corporation.  After relocating from Florida to Wilton, CT, she became very involved in the community of Wilton, as well as the surrounding towns of Westport, Norwalk, Redding, Stamford and New Canaan. Her activities in Wilton included The Wilton Newcomers Club, the PTA, the YMCA, the Walter Schalk Dance Studio, and Wilton Children's Theater, where she produced a number of elaborate productions. Ms. Geletka's service involvement included -- and still partially includes -- the Missions Organization, The Junior League of Stamford and Norwalk, and Habitat for Humanity. She was also a member of The Redding Country Club, as well as The Shore and Country Club of Norwalk. After living in Wilton for 14 years, she and her family relocated to the Washington DC area, where she lived in Potomac, MD. While in Potomac, she worked for many organizations and non profits, such as The Holy Child Annual Fund Raising Event and Gala Event, Sidwell Friends School Annual Fund, Senior Community Day, the Best Buddies Organization, the DC Park Enhancement Efforts, as well as food distribution services through the local food banks. Ms. Geletka was also the Annual Fund Chair for the Connelly School of the Holy Child and she continues to be involved with the Sidwell Friends School Alumni-Parent Group. After four years in the Washington DC area, another business opportunity presented itself and her family moved once again to CT. Because of their love for waterfront living, they purchased a home in Stamford, and then one in Norwalk, where she currently resides.
