My passions for interior design, visual display and creating original art have melded perfectly into my staging career.

My first decorating project was my very own room when I was thirteen and I haven't let up since. (Bright yellow walls, white high-gloss furniture, flower-power curtains--right-on!)

My time as a manager with the Bombay Company helped further my skills in art of furniture and accessory arrangement. I also gained much valuable experience there in with dealing with the public. (Yes, you know exactly what that means.)

At Macy's, as a visual display artist, I learned how to transform a piece of foam core into the Pyramids at Giza.  Suffice it to say, I can truly make something out of nothing! Old to new, dull to bright, unsaleable to saleable.

At any gathering, just ask any of my family and friends and they will tell you I'm always the high energy gal who is not only eating and drinking and socializing, but also the one who is enthusiastically moving things around, redecorating, shaking up the surroundings.  It's in my genes, I just can't help it!

What I enjoy most is using what a client has to maximum advantage.  However, I can cover the entire scope of staging needs, as evidenced by my two most recent jobs:

One was for a woman who had lived in her home for 35 years and was certifiable hoarder. We eliminated over 2,000 pounds of "stuff", organized, cleaned, and staged.

The other was a nearly empty home on the market for 2.1 million.  We furnished, accessorized and staged over 4,000 square feet of vacant space.

I have recently associated myself with Preferred Staging, LLC. Monica Murphy is the principal, and not only is she as talented as she is experienced, she's enormously fun to work with!
