Well, its finally happened... I’m moving out on my own for the first time. The idea alone was scary in itself, given that I had absolutely no idea how to even approach this next chapter of my life. Just launched a new improved website for CalgaryListings.com. We decided to take a different approach with this site instead of the traditional template sites offered by the real estate web site companies. This is a custom wordpress theme. The nice theing about this site is that it is on the wordpress platform and allows for the ability to easy add edit and delete iformation instantly.  I have never really been one for the template sites as then they look the same as most others in a world that it is already hard to have your own real estate brand. As I write, there are 48 homes for sale listed on the MLS in Lake Sundance Calgary.  Back at the beginning of 2010, there were only 14 active MLS listings for this highly desireable lake community. Calgary home sales showed a marked decline in the month of May, according to figures released yesterday by the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB®).  The number of single family homes sold in May 2010 in the city of Calgary was down 20 per cent from the same time a year ago, and condominium sales saw a decrease of 21 per cent from the same time a year ago.  May 2010 saw 1,262 single family homes sold in the city of Calgary.
