TORONTO, July 20 (Reuters) - The Bank of Canada raised its key interest rate on Tuesday, as expected, but warned the domestic and global recovery will be slower than it had previously forecast, suggesting any further hikes may be gradual. The central bank's next rate announcement is September 8.  The following is a chronology of the Bank of Canada's changes to the target for the overnight rate since 2000. Just launched a new improved website for CalgaryListings.com. We decided to take a different approach with this site instead of the traditional template sites offered by the real estate web site companies. This is a custom wordpress theme. The nice theing about this site is that it is on the wordpress platform and allows for the ability to easy add edit and delete iformation instantly.  I have never really been one for the template sites as then they look the same as most others in a world that it is already hard to have your own real estate brand. As I write, there are 48 homes for sale listed on the MLS in Lake Sundance Calgary.  Back at the beginning of 2010, there were only 14 active MLS listings for this highly desireable lake community. Calgary home sales showed a marked decline in the month of May, according to figures released yesterday by the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB®).  The number of single family homes sold in May 2010 in the city of Calgary was down 20 per cent from the same time a year ago, and condominium sales saw a decrease of 21 per cent from the same time a year ago.  May 2010 saw 1,262 single family homes sold in the city of Calgary. This is a decrease of 7 per cent from 1,352 sales in April 2010. In May 2009, single family home sales totaled 1,584. The number of condominium sales for the month of May 2010 was 518.
