 I Got How Many Clicks on My ActiveRain Blog Posts..Really?   I went through the top clicks on my ActiveRain Blog and found the top 7 posts for 2013 and 2012. Here is a chart with titles and # of clicks.     I then divided the posts up into three groups; Realtor Issues, Internet & Websites, and Regional Events. New on ActiveRain...Picture CAPTCHA   Have you noticed something new today on ActiveRain? We have new 'Captchas' and they are very nice. I don't know about you but over the past few years I have tried to post comments or go to certain software programs that have a captcha. I try over and over again but get the code wrong and it says 'do-over'. Ugggg....drives me nuts as sometimes the letters are so close together it is hard to tell. Wrong, Wrong, Wrong and again Wrong. Does this sound familiar but not anymore here on Activerain.           CAPTCHA is a program that protects websites against Bots by generating and testing the user. Being Likeable is an Important Quality as well as Experience & Service Experience, Education, Service and Professionalism are all important traits of a Realtor or Lender but also there has to be a good fit between the clients and their Realtor/Lender. Doodle 4 Google Contest Winner-"Coming Home" drawn by Wisconsin Teen  If anyone was on Google search page today, they would have seen Sabrina Brady's winning entry. It was a depiction of the event showing her dad coming home as Sabrina was running to greet him. Her dad been deployed in Iraq for 18 months. Sabrina used to Letters G-O-O-G-L-E to describe her drawing. She drew herself and her father in black and white with only colored flags until the time they unite and then the drawing is depicted in full color. I just witnessed first hand a car chase in the City of Riverside where there were at least 10 cruisers and several motors in vehicle pursuit vigorously but safely while the getaway vehicle was taking risks swerving and speeding as well as running lights to get away. Then, the suspect realized there was no hope, abandoned the vehicle and took off running.   Multitasking- Good, Bad or is it Just a Sex Thing?   I confess even though I work for Keller Williams I have not read the book yet. But I did read the 3 downloaded chapters and enjoyed them thoroughly.   Gary Keller talks about the movie “City Slickers” and I loved it. It was a feel good movie that has a nice ending and lots of funny parts throughout including bringing home a baby calf on an airplane and pulling it behind their station wagon on the CA freeway.   The Sun Shines Forever in My Yard         I bought this sand sculpture at the local home improvement store 5 years ago. It was really heavy and we hung in on the fence post. It has been hanging there ever since during rain, wind, cold and heat and it is still intact and as pretty as the day we bought it.       I love to look out on my patio and see my smiling sun looking back at me. Stranded Awaiting my Roadside Service….Thanks Walter’s Automotive   A few weeks ago, my car started acting up and as I went to show property, I found the battery was dead. I had the battery jumped and it was OK for a few days so I thought I must had left the inside lights on.  Then on Friday night, I again went to meet a client for a walk-through and my car wouldn’t start. Luckily I had another car but knew I had to take care of this problem or I would end up being stranded soon. And it was raining so I was glad I happened to be home at the time.   I called my roadside service number and within 15 minutes I got a car from a Walter’s Technician who said he had 2 prior calls of stranded drivers but would be to my house within 2 hours.    Within 2 hours, approximately 8:30 pm, he was there... 04/26/2013
