More and more of our commercial real estate inspections are now including fast food restaurants that have closed in this economic down turn. One transaction this spring was a chain of franchise units that were sold individually. The building was "as is" when we inspected them (minus the food) and in most instances the buyer attended the inspection. I personally enjoyed listening to them talk about their "future" establishment and what it will soon be transformed into.
