Wowza, what a fun game that was. ASU thumps UofA in the annual “Duel in the Desert” at Sun Devil Stadium. The yearly match up between the two schools is such a fun rivalry. The teams, the fans and the coaches always look forward to this game and the excitement is tough to match. For the season, ASU is Pac-12 South champion and will now host Stanford to see who wins the conference and goes to the Rose Bowl. If you are like me and live in Tempe, you’ve noticed the excitement in the air. Tempe, AZ Real Estate Market Update - October 2013 As you can see from all of the red arrows, the overall Tempe, AZ Real Estate Market is cooling off. Active Listings are the highest they've been in more than two years. UCB (Under Contract accepting Backups) are down and Pending Listings are up 17% month over month but down 40% over the past two years. Sales per month are down 17% month over month but down 38% over the past 3 months. DOM (Days On Market) is up 7% month over month and up 26% over the previous quarter. Days of Inventory, an indicator of how balanced our market is, stands at 98 days. 98 Days is still a sellers market. Market Update for Tempe AZ - October 2013 Tempe AZ Market Update Currently there are 479 properties for sale in Tempe AZ. Of these 322 are single family homes.  7 are patio Homes (typically single story with a shared common wall and small back yard), 92 are Town Homes (by definition, two story units with no real yard front or back, and the rest are Condo’s (Apt.
