Millcreek Affordable Homes     Here in the Salt Lake Valley, clients often ask me "How do I generally find my property lines without contacting a surveyor."  Simple answer is on the sidewalk or in the gutter you will find a pin or nail where your property line will be. If your home is located in a subdivision and all the lots are numbered this will work. Just walk around the general area on the side of your home and you will find the marker.  Then you can measure (you can find this measurement on your plat map that is included with your title policy when you bought your home) and go over to the other side of your property and find the pin/nail there also.  If this is your first home, after you make an offer on your home you will receive a title policy and the plat map will be included.... 10/27/2014
