Winter Wonderland in Phoenix - Snow! Snow in Phoenix? Last Saturday while hiking in the preserve behind our home we were shocked to look up and see snow on the mountains.  Was it a mirage?  Was it just clouds?  Nope. It was snow!  And mind you we've been hiking there for over 30 years and have never seen snow!  Everyone on the trail was excited about the snow as they've never seen snow on those hills either! The winter visitors out hiking were surprised and asked us a lot of questions about winter weather here in Phoenix, which was fun! Every direction we turned there was snow on all the mountains around Phoenix North Valley. I'm sure everybody took a lot of pictures to capture the beauty of the snow! I know because we sure took a lot of photos! Quite often something out of the blue pop...

1 Interest rates are low. And if you think three or four percent is high, look at the past 50 years when interest rates most of the time were 7% to 19%.2 The economy is great now. Unemployment is at an all time low. 3 Home values have gone up for the past 10 years. So, don’t expect them to skyrocket our market could not take on what happened 14 to 18 years ago.

1   Looking back over the past four decades there were only two times that were not a great time to purchase a home. A Couple of years when interest rates were eighteen percent or higher in the mid to late 1980’sAround 2005 to 2008 when prices went out of sight and the market crashed.2   Home values for the most part have always gone up whether a little or a lot, therefore, now is also a great time to buy.3  Owning a home in any of the past 10 years the value of your home would have gone up.Renting for the past 10 years paying $1200. Per month rent, you would have thrown away $144,000, in other words paid someone else’s mortgage for them.Whereas owning (in the Phoenix real estate market) you would have accumulated around $100,000+ in value or appreciation, not counting the tax write off...

Can you imagine, what it is about this week that you have no idea about that will cause it to be fun or exciting?I have no idea about it either. That is what will happen in your life, which really makes the week exciting. That is not only what is exciting about the week, but also about each day of the week. When you IMAGINE BELIEVE, and EXPECT the week to be the best, or your best so far this year. It will! Those three words are powerful as well as interesting to me. Currently when I wake up, I have a coupe of events that are coming up in the next few months, one looks like could be this week.Thinking about those when I first wake up causes me to get up.And a third is a plan to lose five pounds prior to April 25th. Why?Because I decided it would be a fun challenge for myself, to feel great ...

Realize this week is history. Focus little on the wins of this week. Ignore the loses of this week.Begin now to focus on your expectations, imagination and beliefs for the coming week.Be sure your beliefs, imagination and expectations for the coming week are all headed toward wins. When you are not doing something of importance, keep running the expected wins for next week. The next level to move toward is a: KNOWING of positive expectations. When was thee last time you KNEW something was going to happen, and it did?Isn’t that one of the best feelings there is.Right now, I am working on a couple knowing’s for the coming week, as well as for April and May.These are excellent feelings to focus on, when you are waiting to catch a plane, train or bus. As well as when you are going to sleep (we...

Interesting… isn’t it? What goes on in our heads.Well I am sure it is not interesting on what goes on in millions of people’s heads. It can be depressing, miserable, exciting, joyful, embarrassing, peaceful, or what ever you want it to be. Take for instance you have a painful headache, as I do right now.My focus is on excitement, peace, happiness, that is to come today, this next week, month and six months, about ninety eight percent of the time. This way the headache is not all that bad.Always remember change. When you are not content with what is going on in your life.Stick around for a few minutes to a day, and it will change. That is just how unpredictable, and exciting life can be.

The next though is: Your best year ever, in what way?Mentally, physically, spiritually, financially?Well for some reason I have this firm belief, an interesting imagination, and a confident expectation that this year will be my best. What is interesting, I could even have a heart attack, and still have my best year ever.Focusing on the year, almost 2/12 or 1/6th of it is about gone. How is your 2019 shaping up? I have exciting expectations for: February, March, April, May, June July and August. Now it is time for me to read a few more pages of: BEYOND POSITIVE THINKING. By Dr Robert Anthony. I hope your Saturday is as great as mine will be.

Do you ever stop and just THINK ABOUT LIFE?What will happen today in your life? What will happen in the lives of others close to you? What will happen in the lives of people you haven’t talked with in a year or more?Life is interesting, exciting, unpredictable isn’t it?Some of my favorite words are: BELIEVE, IMAGINE, EXPECT.Do you ever want to believe in something, but can’t convince your mind to believe in it?What are your expectations of what will go on in your life for today, for the next week?Imagine! Where will you be? What will you have differently in a week or a year than what you have now? And then there are those unfortunate ones, who don’t imagine, expect or believe.Have you heard? Imagination is the preview of life’s coming attractions. My imagination is on winning the next lev...

With ever how many people there in America who are renting instead of owning a home.I wonder how many would become home owners, if they knew about the benefits and advantages of owning? If you are not a home owner, if you won’t talk with me.Please talk with a Realtor within 72 hours and see what you are missing out on.If you don’t know a Realtor call 602 570 2442.Let me help you become educated about this enormous advantage. Not because I am a Realtor.Because I have owned 13 homes in three states beginning in Denver, after my honorable discharge from the U S Navy in 1969. The benefits are unbelievable, compared to renting.

Serving others, to me is what God put us here for. He saw Adam was lonely and gave her Eve.We won’t go any further with that subject. Ha But think about it, when you help someone else it will come back to reward you. What is amazing about that, is it could be not only 10-fold, but far more than that. And it could be the same day, or it could be 40 years later. This also helps maintain a positive attitude, avoid the negativists we hear every day. That can be a big challenge, also as long as you are focused to get through any changes that come is a joy.

Always having something exciting in your life going on gives that boost to get up when you wake up.And seeing a new day as well as a new week causes me to think – what will b exciting in my life this week?Usually ends up around 100 for a week. I always count them at night.I get from 10 to 29. Always reaching 10 the feeling of it was a great day. Now let’s get out there and find someone we can help.Whether is finding someone you can help in selling or buying a home. What is most exciting about it, gives you the opportunity to wonder until it happens. You never know who it will be, what their circumstances are, and what way you can help them.Helping others is what I like about life.

How many ways are there to win? Wow! A really big number. Today I will talk about two types of winning. One form of winning is Toastmasters. First some facts about Toastmasters: It has nothing to do with toast in your toaster for breakfast. And it is not about taking a glass and tapping it against another glass of liquid someone else is holding.Always good to have a little humor in your speech. It does help you increase your communication skills, by slowly training you to have confidence to speak in front of people.Doesn’t matter if it is one person or 100,000 people. Now winning an international speech contest has six steps to it:Club, area, division, district, regional and international world champion. To me, it is not about the trophy you can win, it is improving yourself, and being a...

1 Honesty. Often, I tend to believe all people I meet are honest, and about every week I learn that is not true.Sometimes you may believe one thing, and the opposite is the truth. Having a Realtor who you are confident with, gives you a peace of mind knowing they may tell you something you don’t agree with, but they are being honest.2 Punctual. One thing I can’t stand is a person not on time. I am sure you would like the same respect. Often when a real estate agent is not on top of it about time, you could loose out on the house you want, because someone else moved faster. That I why I offer three promises no other agent in Arizona offers. When I violate the promises the client gets $100. Gift card for their favorite restaurant. 3 Respect. When you have a person, who has deep admiration ...
